Poznan Consortium Workshop

The four ITEM teams meet in Poznań to plan the sprint to the end of the project.

Three months after meeting in Utrecht, the Netherlands, the teams from Adam Mickiewicz University (AMU), Oxford University, Norway's Transportøkonomisk Institute, and Utrecht University met again in Poznań. The programme included a further review of the entire project, with an outlook to understand the total planned outputs and academic papers, as well as workshops on the three main research work packages. The teams discussed key remaining tasks, including the potential focus and approach to comparing the household / user interviews and the planning of the final three stakeholder workshops on policy mixes. Filip Schmidt and some of the AMU teams' students led us on a walking tour of mobility infrastructure evolution in Poznań, from the controversial modernisation of the railway station to the street-by-street approach to improving conditions for pedestrians in the public realm. The consortium teams ate together multiple times across the two days, enjoying Polish cuisine (including plenty of vegetarian options!) and forging stronger bonds of collaboration.
